After School Academic Enrichment Program 2021-2022

Welcome to the Kibogoji After School Academic Enrichment Program (KASAEP)!

We are gearing up for another year of working with your children and the Turiani community during the 2021-2022 school year. We plan to provide your children with a safe, fun, and academically enriching environment to spend their after-school hours. Our program goals are to:

  • Provide a clean, safe, and nurturing after-school environment for participating students.
  • Provide academic support and assistance through homework help and special attention
  • Provide opportunities for students to gain new experiences that will build their self-confidence and skills.
  • Provide students with exposure to a variety of recreational and leisure activities.

Mrs. Dativa Antony is our AESDP director. A great group of teachers will be working with your children providing homework help, supervision, and other activities. We will keep our ratio of teachers to students at 1:15.

Mrs. Antony is available during the after-school hours of 2:30 – 5:00 p.m. If you need to contact the KASAEP program during those hours, you can call 0756-762-730. The same behavioral expectations apply in Evansdale KASAEP as during the regular school day. Students are expected to cooperate with the KASAEP staff and to respect other participants in the program. They must listen and follow directions and stay with their group. Students are to come to KASAEP at 2:30 p.m. unless approved by staff. The KASAEP director or who is also the school principal may remove students from the program who are unable to behave with respect towards staff and other participants in the KASAEP program.

Students may be suspended or dismissed from the Evansdale KASAEP program for the following reasons:

  • Excessive late pick-up
  • Excessive late payment of tuition
  • Discipline/behavior problems
  • Non-payment of tuition and/or late pick-up fees

KASAEP follows the same mitigating strategies that are followed during the school day. Students and staff will wear masks during indoor activities. (Masks are not mandatory for outdoor activities.) Students will wash their hands and hand sanitize frequently during KASAEP. High-touch surfaces will be cleaned regularly. We are looking forward to a great year in KASAEP where all our Eagles listen well, study hard, and S.O.A.R. like eagles!
